In the South it became known as
the" One drop Rule "
meaning that a single drop of
"black blood" makes a person black.

These Photos are suppose to be of Fair Skinned Black Americans who were slaves during the civil war period ..I cannot see in My eyes from viewing these photos that These beautiful children are Racially Black in color...This is " The One Drop Rule " at it's inception ...To say these photos are of Black people is like saying Europeans inhabit China....It's possible that there are Black genes in these children but who is to say that African Genes are exclusive among the Black African population...It's obvious that " Race ", if there is even a God given classification, would be based on Skin color and and how one is defined by appearance.
Simply because someone Has a trace of Black genes does not make one Black... What happens to the 98% of the White Genes they possess...Does that really count for anything ? To say that someone who possess a strain of black blood and a hugh amount of White blood is Black only does not even meet the common sensible rule... You could also say that these are White people passing for Black..Is there really a big difference.
All My life I grew up thinking that White was right and Black was not all right but through the Years I've come to realize that there is really not a ounce of deference between skin color, intelligence and ability.....My mother was a Blood hair , Blue Eye'd Women of French, Indian, Black and Irish immigrants and it hurt Us so much for My mom to be Socially rejected by both Black and Whites......I have found that in life a persons character is base on Their innate intelligence and their ability to fit in society and not just the color of their skin...Multi Racial People have endured these hardships throughout mankind..Race mixing is not something new and it will continue as long as there is a Society of men ...

The term "Negro,"
which is used in certain historical contexts, means the same
thing. Terms such as "African black, unmixed Negro,"
and "all black" are used here to refer to unmixed
blacks descended from African populations.
The term "mulatto"
was originally used to mean the offspring of a "pure
African Negro" and a "pure white." Although
the root meaning of mulatto, in Spanish, is "hybrid,"
"mulatto" came to include the children of unions
between whites and so-called "mixed Negroes."

Very importantly ....
I always hear this expression .... " Your parents Were raped by the slave owner that's how You got here "
Well, if people would think for themselves they'd know that many White on Black Relationships were done willingly , As it is still done till this day There will always be true love matches between the Races and it's not always done forceably..

No other ethnic population in
the nation, including those with visibility non-Caucasoid
features, is defined and counted according to a one-drop rule.
